About a 2 weeks ago I got a clicking noise from about where my HDD is it lasted only about a minute or so (it was a slow click) The other day I decided to go to the Apple Store Genius Bar to have them check my HDD, and I had also decide to upgrade the OS while I was there. What timing did I have? While there it was showing the signs of dieing. So I got most of my files off my HDD and onto an external. I left it there for them to fix. I also had some other strange timing, my HDD size was a 120, they had no 120 gb in the back so I got a 250 gb. The other timing is that my warranty is about to expire next month.
So If I had not gotten my HDD replaced, I would instead of a working HDD it would become a interesting paper weight.
